PUPILS CHARITY EVENT
Some of you will Know Paul Clegg, he comes along to partner student in my Yorkshire dance classes & St Andrews Elderly Action group. He will be holding a charity singing evening in aid of various charity. Saturday 22nd September, starting at 7.30pm, St George's Church Hall, Great George Street, Leeds LS1 3BR. I'm sure it also include some of his lovely cakes. Ticket £5 & £3 concessions for more details email [email protected] or see him in class. Hopefully see lots of you there. Paula

Extracts from Dance School News - March 2011
Save the ChildrenAs you know we do have the occasional fund raiser for this charity. We are hoping to be holding a Summer Tea Dance in June and with the kind permission of David & Anne Cove the use of their beautiful cottage garden. I will let you know the date when it has been confirmed.
 National Save the Children week is 25th to 29th April 2011. We have been very lucky & been given permission to collect at the Ikea store, in Birstall. So we are looking for volunteers who could give a couple of hour during this week to help collect. We usually collect in pairs, so you can come as a couple or individuals. It is a really good charity who do a lot of work with children in the Uk & over seas. If you would like to help this worthy charity please let me know. If you would like to help in some other way because you are busy on these dates, we have also been given to opportunity to collect from the 17th to 23rd of December. Last time we collected at Ikea we collect £1300 so you can see it is something well worth doing.

2010 Darren and Lillia Event
It was a pleasure to welcome back some old friends of the Paula Clark School of Dance, for our summer dance event. Darren and Lillia gave a demonstration for us, many years ago just after they had partnered up. Since that time they have had many landmarks in their dancing careers and are now household names following their appearances on Strictly Come Dancing……..
The evening was a great success with dancers filling the floor all evening. A marvellous buffett was enjoyed by all followed by an exceptional demonstration of dance by our guests Darren and Lillia…..
After the couple had danced and changed they came back to the ballroom and posed for photographs with as many dancers as wanted them to…… a great memento for a great great evening……
So do not miss out on our future events, keep returning to the website and keep up to date with all that is happening at the Paula Clark School of Dance ……
